“It was a wonderful seminar, were I got to learn a lot more about the art of Advocacy and Lobbing. We focused on the differences in these two similar terms and how to implement them in everyday life. All of the participants were representatives of organizations working in the area of ecological improvement. We all made eco projects were we practiced advocacy and lobbing, we all had a great time working together, and you can definitely expect us to work together in the near future. After all we were all highly ambitious individuals who believe the future is green” – Said, Anjeza Gorenca/Sadiku- representative of ARNO.
ARNO was invited to the seminar by the NGO “Eko-Svest” and is expected to continue with its participation by joining the future trainings in the quarters of this project.
Within the study visit to Poland, held from October 24-28 through the Fostering Social Entrepreneurship Program, ARNO had the opportunity to send a representative – (Katerina Panova Matoska) who was familiar with the work of the social enterprises from Poznan and its surroundings.
This was a great opportunity, together with representatives from other organizations and representatives of public institutions, to visit different types of social enterprises together and to see the way they work. Within the frames of the post realization:

Aleksandar Milosevic participated in a study visit “Social Inclusion through Entrepreneurship” at the invitation of the CID (Center for Intercultural Dialogue-Kumanovo), which was held from the 22nd till the 27th of October, in Brussels, Belgium.
The long-term project of the CID and the partners “Social Inclusion through Entrepreneurship” aims at providing greater inclusion of citizens with fewer opportunities through providing (social) entrepreneurial education. During this study visit, the participants focused on exploring appropriate practices of social entrepreneurship and its impact on people with fewer opportunities. Alexander had the opportunity to visit social enterprises in Brussels, as well as some rural cooperatives and social enterprises that carry out economic activities on the one hand, but also support marginalized people to find work, on the other.
The second training of the project “Students Today – Responsible Entrepreneurs Tomorrow” was conducted in the period 01.07.05.2017 in Rijeka-Croatia. The purpose of this training was to offer new knowledge and create a learning space for students already created by virtual student companies and to offer them the opportunity to practice skills that are truly usable in the business sector. In the first two days, students confirmed theoretical knowledge about CSR and SP and presented their businesses (the students who created them). During the training several visits to successful companies with CSR practices and social arrangements were realized: the students visited the local organization “Street lights” – a magazine sold by the homeless, O.U. “Nikola Tesla”, who runs economic activity – produces and sells magnets made by students (including magnets with the image of Balthazar from the eponymous cartoon), the National Croatian Energy Company (HEP), which held a workshop on their activities for CSR, the municipality of Rijeka held a presentation on the startups and shared a brief overview of the economy in the region, the Macedonian Community in Rijeka, which held a presentation for their non-profit organization.
