Our idea is to purchase a food trailer to get our Coolinary Social Enterprise mobile! The food trailer will provide training and start-up opportunities for people from gastronomy VET school. We plan to also contact Embassies so we can offer variety of food and promote cultures: (week of Spanish food, week of American food, week of Polish food).Through this variety of cousins we will enrich the work experience and cooking skills of the student chefs enrolled. The idea is to involve them not only in cooking and service but also in the entire Social Enterprise running. Only by giving young people chance to fee ownership of the business we create strong labour workforce.
Our idea is to work long term with this young people (15-17 years old, chef students at the State Vocational School).
The Food truck will be selling food prepared by the student chefs at different locations around the city. In summer we will visit Festivals (we got inspired by D-Fest where our Jovan and Antonio had a stand to only demonstrate that “it’s cool to cook” but people thought they can buy their food) and we will visit local Events to earn more profit by selling cool food bites through the Food Truck.
