Social Economy without Borders-new project and new opportunities
In 2019, ARNO became part of the international project Social Economy Without Borders, implemented by the Barka Foundation from Poland and their partners: Municipality of Krobia (Poland), Salvation Army (Czech Republic) and the Municipality of Revfulop (Hungary).
ARNO is the coordinator of the project at a national level, in partnership with the local organizations: SOLEM, Ljubeznost, Misla, SIEC, and AHP Prilep. The project has the objective to educate on social entrepreneurship, the legal forms and funding of social entreprises, support mechanisms, social clauses in public procurements, to motivate the civil sector and public administration, to build an informal international platform for the exchange of good practices, ideas and experience among partners, and to raise the public awareness about social entrepreneurship.
